Terms of Reference Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) Vision, objectives, scope and deliverables The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections in partnership with Democracy International (DI) is launching a new project, aims to analyze and visualize recent public opinion research data on citizen perceptions of the electoral process and demands for electoral reform. The data, analysis, visualizations, and recommendations for electoral reforms will be added to the Lebanon Election Data platform (www.lebanonelectiondata.org). Once the website is done, an online campaign will be launched to publicize the findings on LADE Facebook and Website, online news sites, and other relevant online resources. On the other hand LADE will hold a press conference in Beirut to launch the new visualizations and publicize data-driven election reform recommendations.   Roles and responsibilities   LADE is seeking a specialized and creative company that can do the following: Create data visualizations using survey data and analysis for the Lebanon Election Data website. Add the full data set for LADE’s opinion pulling to the site for download. Create map visualizations for at least three stories drawn from the opinion research data. Modify the current front page to add the new maps and to make the page more compelling. Have a designer review the visual design of the site.     Work breakdown structure and schedule   The company is supposed to start the work once the contract is signed in 11 May, as the content is already prepared by LADE and ready for the visualization process. The company will work on the visualization form the May 12 till the June 12, 2015. As LADE has to abide by a short time frame afterwards regarding the advertising campaign and the press conference.
