Job Purpose: Coordinating the implementation of the EU grant & ensuring the compliance with the grant’s conditions. 2. Dimensions: 3. Key Result Areas:( a maximum of six areas ) a.      Coordinating the implementation of the EU grant: -          Follows up with the relevant sections and departments on the implementation of grant activities & ensures the compliance with the conditions of the grant. -          Maintains close contacts with the EU delegation staff managing the grant and responds to their queries and concerns through the program manager and the ED. -          Detect diversion from the grant implementation schedule and alert the program manager and propose corrective actions. -          Coordinate with the partners working on the grant and follow up with the relevant persons in the partner organizations on the progress of activities ensure compliance with grant conditions and project objectives.   b.      Documenting and disseminating the achievements made under the grant and the problems faced and lessons learned: -          Collects the relevant data on the progress of the implementation of the grant and produces the progress reports and presents to the program manager. -          Provides data on the achievements and lessons learned to the communication department through the program manager to include in LADE’s web site and publications.   c.       Assisting in the management of the program department: -          Contribute to the development of the program’s yearly action plan -          Assists the program manager in dealing with human resources issues -          Produces and sends weekly/monthly progress narrative and financial reports or any other reports if required to the program manger. -          Coordinates with the heads of sections at the program department     4. Minimum Qualifications: Education BA degree in political studies, management or related fields. Master degree is an asset. Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic. French is an asset.   Experience Background & expertise in NGO work. At least 3 years of experience in working with international organizations, at least one year in a supervisory position. Knowledge of the Lebanese electoral system and at least 2 years of experience in implementing elections related grants. Computer Capable of using main computer applications (Microsoft office). Skills and personal traits Very good leadership & communication skills. Very good organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure. Good negotiation skills Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
