Job Purpose:  To contribute to the implementation of LADE’s communication strategy that is geared towards building a positive and a professional image of LADE. Core staff                                                        Contract Work location: LADE’s office 2. Key Result Areas:   a.      Contributing to the development of a relevant and effective communication strategy that contributes to the achievement of LADE’s vision and strategic goals: -          Assists in the development of LADE’s communication strategy -          Contributes to the production of a draft yearly action plan   b.      Management of LADE’s Social Media Networks: -          Manages presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed -          Manages social media campaigns and a day-to-day activity, duties includes online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach effort, etc.   c.       Production of communication material  that promotes LADE and highlights its achievements: -          Assists in the production of LADE’s draft Marketing kits and publications -          Assists in the preparation & editing of  monthly newsletters -          Assists in drafting and distributing all LADE  statements   d.      Maintenance of an excellent relationship with  social media networks: -          Assists in the preparation of all events related to social media -          Assists in organizing LADE’s appearances on social media networks -          Follows up on all process related to Media Campaigns whenever needed   3. Minimum Qualifications: Education -          BA. Degree  in Journalism, Political Science, Literature or Communications -          Good command of the Arabic and English languages, French is an asset.   Experience -          At least 3 years of experience in communications. -          Good background and knowledge of the Lebanese atmosphere, political situation, electoral systems…. -          Good knowledge of the NGO sector in Lebanon. -          In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc.)   Computer Sound IT literacy in Word, Excel, e-mail, internet and PowerPoint Skills and personal traits -          Good Planning & organizing skills -          Ability to work under pressure -          Results oriented -          Commitment to LADE’s Identity &values -          Good presentation skills. -          Good interpersonal and public communication skills.
