RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Purchase goods and services according to the company’s policies and procedures
  • Receives the purchases requests from all the branches and departments and prepares the purchase orders
  • Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history
  • Ensure that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions
  • Follow up on the credit notes and any returned items with different suppliers
  • Maintain pricing histories and other vendor records
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Execellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

 

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

 

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any other related field
  • 2 years of purchasing experience
