Bac Searcher

JOB STATUS Full time RESPONSIBLE TOWARDS National Site Supervisor  

1. BASIC FUNCTION: The jobholder will work mainly as a BAC Searcher for LAMINDA.

2. DUTIES PERFORMED:The  operator will conduct BAC tasks in LAMiNDA area of Operation   Be responsible for the safe clearance in accordance with the LAMiNDA Standard Operating Procedures. Work as an integrated part of the BAC team and will assist the team where possible in the daily work. Check all equipment prior to use. Wear the protective equipment correctly. Carry out any instructions given to him/her by a superior expediently, safely and without objections. Be directly responsible and accountable for the equipment issued to him/her. He/she must ensure that his equipment is accounted for, secure and in working order. Always controlling that his/her equipment is serviceable and functioning. Be alert to malfunctions. Reporting any malfunctions or damages to equipment immediately to the Team Leader and/or Site Supervisor. Taking good care of his/her equipment and maintaining it well daily. Expect to participate in refresher training and training before and during the operational phase. Has to achieve  square meters in clearance operations in parallel to  high quality assurance as well       as high safety procedures. Be prepared to work in any area in which LAMiNDA conduct BAC. Be updated with information related to UXO given to the team. Report fit and on time for work.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Lebanese national. Arabic literate. 2 to 3 years previous experience in similar position. Mental and physical fitness. High degree of attention is required to secure the safety of on self, colleagues and  others. Courteous treatment of and assistance to all LAMiNDA staff and visitors. Able to work under stress. Good conduct.
