LLWB/UK Production of a Short Advocacy Film – Women on Boards

The Lebanese League for Women in Business through its flagship Women on Boards (WoB) program in partnership with british embassy in beirut , is advocating  for increased representation of women in boardrooms across the private sector and public institutions in Lebanon.

As part of its advocacy and awareness-raising efforts, LLWB seeks to produce a short, high-impact advocacy film that sheds light on women’s journeys to board positions and the discrimination and structural barriers they face, while promoting a clear call to action for adopting a minimum 30% women’s quota on boards. 

 

2. Objective of the Assignment

The objective is to produce a compelling short film that:

  • Highlights the real challenges and discrimination faced by women aspiring to and serving on boards
  • Celebrates women’s leadership and resilience
  • Clearly communicates LLWB’s advocacy message and pledge for a 30% women representation on boards, in line with the Women on Boards program
  • Is suitable for dissemination across social media, events, advocacy campaigns, and stakeholder engagement

3. Scope of Work

The selected service provider will be responsible for the end-to-end production of the short film, including but not limited to:

  • Concept development and creative direction
  • Scriptwriting and storytelling
  • Casting and coordination with featured personalities (to be proposed by the director and pre-approved by LLWB)
  • Filming/shooting
  • Editing and post-production
  • Finalization and delivery of the approved video
  • Optional behind-the-scenes documentation (to be included within budget)
  • The tone should be serious, credible, inspiring, and advocacy-oriented, aligned with LLWB’s identity and mission.

4. Creative Direction & Inspiration

The production should be inspired by LLWB’s partners advocacy videos, while offering a fresh and strong creative approach. Examples include:

  • General public and media

6. Deliverables

One finalized short film (duration to be proposed, typically 35-45 seconds)

  • Formats optimized for social media and digital platforms
  • One revised version based on LLWB feedback (minimum)

7. Team Composition

The proposal should clearly identify the creative and production team, including:

  • Creative Director
  • Copywriter / Scriptwriter
  • Director
  • Visual Creative
  • Director of Photography
  • Line Producer
  • Art Director
  • Photographer
  • Video Editor
  • Behind-the-Scenes Videographer

8. Budget

The budget is inclusive of:

  • Concept development
  • Writing and scripting
  • Shooting and production
  • Post-production and editing

Final delivery

Proposals must present a clear budget breakdown within this ceiling.

9. Coordination & Approval

LLWB will provide overall guidance, messaging direction, and final approval

All featured personalities, scripts, and final outputs must be pre-approved by LLWB
