LLWB, in partnership with UK Embassy in Lebanon aims to facilitate and increase female representation on the boards of organizations, syndicates, universities and public entities and institutions (Such as ministries and or national machineries and or public institutions) promoting gender equality and diversity in decision-making positions.
In this program LLWB is collaborating closely with four selected institutions such as Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Social Affairs, LARI and CDR.
In brief, LLWB is cooperating alongside these institutions to foster more inclusive, equitable, and gender-responsive environments by mainstreaming gender across all levels of governance as all as advocating for Women on boards within private and the public sector. Hence, LLWB and institutions are also working on embedding work on women's leadership — including on boards of public or private institutions — as a core value of institutional culture through this program UK Funded program.
Scope of Consultancy: LLWB is seeking a qualified short-term mentor to conduct mentorship sessions for women from 4 public institutions in Lebanon. The MENTOR is expected to give a total of 5 in presence sessions for 1 selected mentee from a public institution; the mentorship sessions should be conducted in person, and it could be at LLWB premises if the situation permits.
The profile of the women participating in those sessions are high-level public sector employees.
The mentor should develop 5 sessions of mentoring content for the mentee about their future decision-making roles.
The mentorship sessions need to be mix of focused training and one on one tailored coaching and mentorship between the women participating and the mentor. The objective of the mentorship is primarily to support these women run for board positions in private or public sectors. The mentorship will also cover a multidisciplinary scope of issues, from good governance to financial statements, to KPIs.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must hold a degree in business, social sciences, Law, socio-economic sciences, gender studies, or any other relevant field. The following qualifications are required;
At least 10 years of work experience in conducting training, one on one mentoring and coaching in women on boards and leadership, assessments.
Great communication skills in Arabic and English and Fluency in English and Arabic is necessary.
Is or has been a board member in a private, public sector and or NGO.
Relevant experience with public Institutions, in depth knowledge of organizational governance of public sector and private sectors,
At least 10 years in the arenas of organizational development, raising safeguarding and governance and accountability standards.
LLWB will select the mentor for the assignment, considering the proposal submitted by the applicant, experience, and availability. Noting that each mentor will mentor one person for at least 5 sessions and needs to send written agenda and learning outcomes for each mentoring session, Means of verification of the session inclusive of a picture, content. LLWB will ensure that mentees fill in evaluation forms after the mentoring sessions.
The mentor will have to assess the needs of the mentee during the first session and set a plan with the mentee and send it to LLWB about the 5 sessions. A final meeting would be organised with mentee, mentor and LLWB online to discuss learnings curb.
Deliverables:
The mentor will review the mentee CV, assess their individual needs (using calls, preparatory meeting with the mentee), and provide guidance to prepare them for onboarding in the Women’s on-Board flagship journey of LLWB. It is important to note that the mentor will support the women they mentor to be ready to take in a later phase the LLWB Women on board journey through the 2 certifications offered by LLWB, through ESA university, the CDP-IFC and boards diversity Journey
Each mentor will have to Conduct 5 sessions with each mentee.
Each mentor has to send before the sessions to LLWB by email in clear attachments, in PDF: 1
Clear plans/outlines for the mentoring sessions, with outputs expected and after the 5 sessions,
A report on how each of the 5 sessions went, with pictures and quotes from mentees.
The content delivered in each session (In PDF).
At last, the mentor will have to send a one paragraph covering the activity that was held, and the session organized with pictures and quotes from participants to be used on social media and the website of LLWB. (the paragraph of 250 to 350 words should be in English and also developed in Arabic).
With this call for proposal, LLWB requests interested individual experts to express their interest and send a cover letter with clear commitment to conducting the sessions during the allocated time, the expert needs to send a financial proposal covering all the above deliverables.
To consult with LLWB, proper MOF certification is needed. Note: Failing to provide these documents will lead to an automatic deduction of the withholding tax (8.5%) as per the Lebanese Law.

A cover letter outlining relevant experience and qualifications related to mentoring. In PDF, with a clear financial proposal in USD dollars covering the 5 mentorship sessions, all the preparations and after mentoring material to be sent to LLWB. The lumpsum sent should include all taxes. The letter should confirm the mentor's availability to perform the 5 mentoring sessions in November and December 2025.
Copy of passports or IDs and Lebanese financial registration documents.
