About the Program:
LLWB, in partnership with KAS (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung), is conducting a multisectoral dialogue program aiming to empower women-led businesses across Lebanon by providing targeted capacity building support in digital marketing, and business sustainability and communicating and pitching practices for the businesses to enhance their resilience and growth amid economic and security challenges.
Objective:
LLWB aims to empower 45 women-led MSMEs in the Beqaa, North, and Shouf across key sectors including Agriculture, Industry, Services, STEM, and Agri-food. This initiative is particularly critical in the context of Lebanon’s prolonged economic crisis and the compounded impacts of conflict and instability, which have disproportionately affected women entrepreneurs and small businesses.
By supporting women-led MSMEs, LLWB contributes to post-conflict recovery and resilience-building, fostering economic stability in regions that have experienced social and economic disruptions. The program enhances livelihoods, promotes inclusive economic participation, and strengthens local value chains—key components of sustainable recovery in fragile settings.
Through tailored training programs, including an intensive four-day capacity-building workshop fully covered by KAS, participants will develop essential business, technical, and leadership skills. This targeted support equips women entrepreneurs not only to sustain their businesses amid ongoing challenges but also to play an active role in community recovery, social cohesion, and long-term economic development
