Call for Web Developer and Designer – LGBTQIA+ Health Knowledge Hub

Scope of Work

  • Design and develop an interactive, multilingual (Arabic and English minimum) knowledge hub on LGBTQIA+ inclusive sexual and reproductive health.
  • Build and integrate a custom Content Management System (CMS) for publishing diverse media: articles, infographics, videos, and directories. 
  • Develop a chatbot. 
  • Expand and refine the LebGUIDE directory of LGBTQIA+-affirming healthcare providers with advanced search and filtering.
  • Ensure the platform is responsive, accessible, and follows best UX/UI design practices.
  • Integrate tools for user feedback, content rating, and training resources.

Security and Data Protection Requirements

Given the platform’s sensitive target audience, developers must strictly adhere to high standards of digital safety:

  • Full TLS 1.2+ encryption for all communications
  • SSL certification and HTTPS-only access
  • Encryption of all databases and backups, both at rest and in transit
  • Use of Cloudflare or Deflect for DDoS and DNS protection
  • Strict access control layers for backend and CMS management
  • Secure password management protocols
  • Commitment to maintaining user privacy, anonymity, and data confidentiality

Deliverables

  • Fully functional, secure, and accessible web platform in Arabic and English
  • Custom-built CMS with multi-format support and translation functionality
  • An interactive functional chatbot
  • Integrated and searchable LebGUIDE directory module
  • Secure backend infrastructure with tested encryption and access controls
  • User testing and final refinements based on feedback

Timeline

This is a time-sensitive project. The selected developer/designer must be able to deliver all core components within 1 month of contract signature. Only applicants who can guarantee availability and timely delivery will be considered.
