LOST is seeking to recruit an Agricultural Engineer to share his knowledge and provide training to the farmers on matters relating to the cultivation of grains and fruit trees.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain agricultural machinery, structures, and equipment that complete basic farming tasks like harvesting, spraying, and seeding
- Provide training for the farmers on matters relating to the cultivation of grains and fruit trees.
- Able to develop farming practices based on the farming field school updates
- Stay up-to-date on industry news concerning technological advancements in the industry
- Plan and develop designs for drainage, irrigation and flood and water control systems
- Inspect and perform tests on their farm equipment designs to ensure they comply with the safety standards and regulations
- Oversee the entire agricultural product creation process from production to delivery
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or any other relevant field
- 3 years of professional working experience in the field as a minimum
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
