LOST is seeking to recruit a Community Mobilization Assistant to support in Execution of a Participatory Mapping of Housing, Land and Property Issues of Syrian Refugees in Lebanon Project.
Job Summary:
The Community Mobilization Assistant will be responsible for working at community level to support the correct implementation of the project activities. The Community Mobilization Assistant will work closely with the Project Coordinator and the other project staff, mainly field enumerators.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and monitor ongoing project activities in collaboration and under the supervision of the Project Coordinator;
- Design and implement outreach initiatives within target communities;
- Ensure the active involvement of target communities with a participatory approach;
- Support the project coordinator in the organization of the training sessions to be realized;
- Mobilize and network with the partners and the key stakeholders for the implementation of the project activities;
- Monitor and supervise the activities implemented and data collection process on field
- Be the focal point and responsible for the implementation of MEAL procedure for the monitoring and evaluation of the project activities;
- Report to the Project Coordinator on the status of implementation of the activities;
- Translate and/or prepare the reports on project implementation to be presented to the donor/other partners, and the monthly project activity reports;
- Maintain a high level of collaboration and coordination with all project staff;
- Monthly reports in English are required.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities according to the weekly and monthly plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science , Business management, Sociology, or any other related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience
