the project manager works to assist project team with the management of resources, equipment, meetings, and information. He/she organizes the project with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor the development of project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Ensure alignment of project execution with donor expectations and internal organizational policies and guidelines.
  • Actively participate in stakeholder meetings, coordinating communication and engagement across relevant parties.
  • Record and track decisions and action items from meetings, ensuring timely follow-up and accountability.
  • Prepare and curate presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain strict adherence to project deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of all deliverables.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and manage necessary changes or adjustments to the project plan.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team as needed, ensuring smooth operational flow.
  • Take ownership of specific project tasks as directed, contributing to overall project success.
  • Develop and implement effective project strategies and frameworks.
  • Assess project risks and challenges, offering practical solutions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Foster positive stakeholder relationships, managing expectations to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Lead or facilitate meetings when required, ensuring that minutes and action points are accurately recorded and distributed.
  • Establish and maintain a project management calendar, tracking milestones, goals, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) and Accountability teams to assess project impact and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of project expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Degree In Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management or a related field.
