LOST is seeking to recruit a Team Leader in Baalbeck /Hermel
Job Summary:
The Team leader will act as the main point of coordination between the project coordinator, and the project staff on the ground.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of the project activities;
- Transfer information to Project coordinator;
- Report targets, timeframe, log frame, delays, and any other relevant information to Project Coordinator;
- Collect all information and orally reports on the progress of youth activities on a daily basis;
- Prepare weekly plans for each activity and assign the duties of staff of his/her area of intervention.
- Follow-up on daily basis with the social workers on each activity, and provide support to prevent problems and difficulties.
- Daily check-up on the trainings to ensure the full compliance with the program document.
- Supervise the outreach and assessment activities to ensure it fulfills a high proficiency level.
- Prepare weekly report in English on the progress of activities to the project coordinator;
- Play as the NGO focal point in front of partners, and stakeholders;
- Collect Data from the development officers and counseling officers for reporting.
- Attend weekly meetings with the management team to reach the project targets.
- Set-up a Monitoring and Evaluation system with the Project Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Science, or any other related field
- 2-3 years of experience as a Team Leader or similar role
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Previous experience in project implementation and in-depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstration of “team player” abilities
- Good time-management skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
