Assistant Nurse - Aley Health Center

Main Role

The Assistant Nurse provides basic nursing care through assisting Physicians, Registered Nurses, and Midwives. He/she monitors beneficiary health conditions and handles medical administrative duties.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist the medical team in health check-up and medical procedures
• Assemble medical equipment as directed by the Physician, Registered Nurse or Midwife
• Provide basic nursing care such as dressings change, giving injections and medication administration, etc.
• Assist in conducting beneficiary examinations, and check vital signs such as respiration, temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
• Clean, sanitize and ensure compliance of infrastructure and equipment with relevant medical standards set by HQ.
• Record and maintain beneficiary personal information and medical data in individual files
• Register daily all beneficiaries’ information in the Medico-Social reports template

• Experience in Health Care setting
• Experience in Primary Health Care field

Industry Related Experience

• Experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian organizations
