Support in assessing the appropriateness of different BA programming options, proceed with the selection of the targeted communities according to the feasibility of different program activities
Manage the activities related to the BA program/project implementation in the different target communities, including regular visits to observe progress of program/project implementation
Manage the monthly activity planning as per set targets (monthly, quarterly, annually) and deadlines by the Program/Project Plan of Action in close collaboration with the DMU BA Focal Persons
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the program to determine more areas for improvement and best practices
Maintain effective and efficient oversight, support, quality control and reporting systems and processes
Ensure updated project documents, for quality and timely implementation of project
Ensure regular field monitoring and modifications as required
Maintain database/archive/records of reports and project documents
Adhere to reporting guidelines for field trips, trainings etc.
Provide direction and monitor field staff in their implementation of the work plan and quality of technical activities
Facilitate requirements and make recommendation for planned activities
Facilitate and support in organizing planning meetings and workshops when required
Ensure relevant thematic issues are mainstreamed in the BA program if appropriate
Ensure that gender, protection, the environment, and other important cross- cutting concerns are taken into account in program design, implementation, and reporting; ensure that activities reflect the needs of specific groups and individuals e.g. elderly people, children, and people with disabilities
Operational/Technical Roles and Responsibilities
Provide inputs/review data and other documentation on the project to the BA Manager and support in the reporting process in accordance to LRC DMU established procedures and processes and assist in preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports on operational activities
Manage both in-kind and cash transfer-programing activities on a branch level effectively
Understand theoretical and operational similarities and differences between in-kind and cash transfer programing, to invest in the day-to-day decisions that need to happen, and to be better able to support branches with interventions, activity planning, and capacity building
Update records for the preparation of different reports on cash-based assistance for refugees
Implement criteria to raw data and finalize crosschecked and scored beneficiary lists
Ensure that monitoring and reports are prepared according to the tools adopted and timely delivered
Contribute to tool development, planning sessions, and attend coordination meetings as requested by the BA Manager
Assist in acquainting field operations and other programs in new features and changes to the BA program tools and systems by assisting coaching and on the job training when required
Undertake regular field monitoring visits and household level verification of beneficiaries
