Blood Drive Coordinator

Operational Roles and Responsibilities

Review the demand forecast plan and develop an annual plan for blood drives and related events

Plan, organize, coordinate and monitor blood collection events/drives throughout Lebanon in different communities.

Organize events such as “World Blood Donor Day”

Identify and act upon opportunities to mobilize blood donors.

Coordinate with LRC Local Branches for the organization of blood drives

Coordinate with other internal stakeholders for the organization of campaigns and events (such as Disaster Management and Youth)

Ensure that all required human and material resources are in place for planned blood drives

Coordinate with Blood donor’s associations, external stakeholders, universities, communities for the organization of blood drives.

Cooperate with external communications team to update BTS related information on the Website and on any other form of communication

Develop / produce PR and media material (factsheets, press releases, etc.) to launch the events / drives.

Assist with organizing and implementing the necessary non-technical trainings related to technicians, volunteers, blood drives and communication skills.

Attend the majority of blood drives

Assess and evaluate the blood drives and develop an evaluation report that covers, for instance, the number of collected blood units vs target, number of first-time donors, campaign’s expenses vs. budget, etc.

Report on individual blood drives and produce consolidated report and analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis
