Health Centers (HC) Coordinator

Main Role

The HC Project Coordinator is in charge of planning, monitoring, tools development, close follow-up and reporting on all activities related to the health centers, as well as coaching and supervising relevant staff.

Main operational duties and tasks: 

1- Direct Project Implementation and Quality Assurance

  • Participate in the design and facilitation of trainings for staff
  • Visit and monitor the work in the health centers
  • Conduct field visits to monitor the implementation of program activities, including services related to reproductive health, child health, non-communicable diseases (NCD) and others
  • Plan and set Mobile Medical Teams (MMT) operations’ schedules, resource allocation and service offerings
  • Provide in-house capacity building activities for staff as needed
  • Coordinate with focal points to map other healthcare services available in the catchment area for continuity of care through referral system
  • Support in the design, implementation and follow-up on MS Sector’s beneficiary feedback and complaint mechanism at LRC health centers
  • Coordinate with MoPH PHC Department, and other health working groups and partners
  • Identify gaps in medication and medical equipment in LRC health centers, communicate and follow-up with relevant HQ staff

2- Reporting

  • Analyze and consolidate the monthly reports from all LRC Health centers
  • Revise and clean data received from centers
  • Follow-up with staff for timely reporting and accurate data
  • Write narrative reports
  • Follow-up on implementation of Health Information System at health centers and provide technical support as needed
  • Follow-up on epidemiological surveillance reporting by LRC health centers

 

3- Staff Management

  • Supervise the employees’ (Nurses, midwives and social workers) performance
  • Motivate the staff and maintain a high level of morale
  • Hold monthly meetings with the staff
  • Provide technical support as needed
