Internal Communications Coordinator for WFP Project

Main Role

The Internal Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination between LRC and the main suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Create and maintain a comprehensive Supply Chain data; develop and implement data standards, data tracking and monitoring, work instructions, policies and procedures
• Plan delivery timetables
• Make sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand
• Track products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination

Function Specific Experience

• Proven experience in supply management or at least working with vendors/suppliers in a service delivery capacity
• Demonstrated management experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective and working relations with staff and other stakeholders
• Behavioral competencies such as Action Management, Client Orientation, Cognitive Capacity, Innovation, Partnering and Teamwork.
• Previous experience in managing distribution site, and solving distribution related issues
• Demonstrated experience in the use of tools, methodologies and problem-solving approaches in the area of data management and reporting
• Well-organized and possess a strong attention to details, with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to learn multiple internal and external programs and systems and then utilize them effectively to support Pathway

Industry Related Experience

• Experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian organizations (LRC experience is preferred)
