Main Role
The MMU Project Coordinator oversees the efficient implementation of the MMU program in compliance with the plans, strategies, protocols and quality standards set at MSD HQ. He/she shall also communicate with relevant functions/MS Service Delivery Channels to ensure optimal cross-functional and quality service offerings.
Operational Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of MS policies and procedures in line with quality standards
- Report to the MS Director/ MS Operations Manager/Local Branch Committee (as applicable) regarding the overall effectiveness and efficiency of MMU and related issues, if any
- Ensure compliance of MMU activities with MoPH accreditation standards and protocols set by HQ
- Develop budgets related to the MMU and control expenditure accordingly
Operational Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and set MMU operations schedules, resource allocation and service offerings
- Coordinate with PHC and assign the needed human resources for the required service offering
- Conduct on-site quality assurance by overseeing MMU activities and checking compliance with relevant policies, procedures, protocols and work ethics
- Communicate and spread awareness of the MMU schedule and service offerings
- Guide employees and relay relevant knowledge for handling difficult or complex problems
- Oversee beneficiary satisfaction results and properly address issues, if any; resolve and/or escalate complaints or disputes as required/necessary
- Supervise record keeping and data accuracy while ensuring sensitive data confidentiality and safety
- Develop plans to cater to emergencies in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Track daily, weekly and monthly quantitative and qualitative reports and ensure their accuracy
- Develop and communicate periodical progress reports for internal and external stakeholders as necessary
People Management Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction within MMU Coordinators and focal Persons (and other team members upon need )towards the achievement of goals and objectives
- Ensure the responsibilities and duties of each MMU team member are specified in writing and clearly communicated
- Guide, motivate, and evaluate subordinates on their performance, productivity and progress, while identifying training needs of team members to improve efficiency and ensure conformity with the standards Performance Management procedures set by the Human Resources Department
- Ensure the MMU team members acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development initiatives/opportunities and programs
Function-related Experience
- Experience in a program management role is required
- Extensive skill, knowledge, and experience in medical setting is required
- Experience in social work is desirable
Industry Experience
- Experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian organizations is desirable
