Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant for WFP Project (2 positions: 1 in Akkar and 1 in Tripoli)

Main Role

The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will be responsible for all the activities related to the Monitoring and Evaluation in the project, which includes filling assessments (FSOM, PDM…), shop monitoring, validation monitoring and others.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Collect and systemize information on progress of the sectors of each activity of the project being implemented
• Provide assistance in training, monitoring and evaluation, data collection, interviews, surveys, data clarity and data delivery to the Project Officer
• Coordinate closely and on a daily basis with the Project Officer on all data collection, data entry and data analysis
• Assist in analyzing and compiling data to measure the progress and impact of projects’ activities
• Assist in preparing the weekly and monthly reports

Function Specific Experience

• Experience with monitoring program implementation using qualitative and quantitative approaches
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Industry Related Experience

• Experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian organizations (LRC experience is preferred)
