Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (PMEAL) Officer - Short-term replacement on a per diem basis till December 2021

Main Role

The Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) Planning section supports all LRC operational sectors in the development of project, M&E plans and follow up on the implementation. The main role of the PMEAL Officer is supporting the team in their respective in terms of project planning, reviewing of monitoring tools and reporting. The project officer will be supporting the planning team coordinating with the operational Sectors as well as the Participating Red Cross National Societies supporting LRC on its implementation.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support in the development of project proposals.
  • Review narrative reports, and follow up with the sectors on reporting deadlines.
  • Support in LRC master Indicator Tracking Table and in aggregation of all data of all the projects.
  • Review M&E plans, as well as M&E tools with the relevant sectors.
  • Support the Planning team in any capacity building activity to be conducted with the Sectors
  • Support the Planning Section on general communication on projects, LRC needs and activities.

 

Function Specific Experience

  • Good understanding of M&E is needed, with a substantial experience in proposal writing and reporting.
  • Relevant experience in Data management is a plus.
  • Data literacy is a plus (PowerBI, ArcGIS - Survey123, etc.)
