SharePoint and GIS Analyst

Main Role:

LRC is seeking to expand the SharePoint and Data Analyst Management systems by focusing on enhancing the existing suites of BI reports & GIS Applications, available and developing related decision support tools. The SharePoint and data analyst will work with DRR volunteers and employees to help set up site pages, content, Team’s pages. They will also help to teach DRR team members how to better leverage Office365 in their jobs.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • The SharePoint and Data Analyst will be performing the following duties:
  • Apply LRC GIS standards in the Disaster Risk Reduction Unit
  • Prepare technical requirements analyses for BI, decision support, process efficiency tools, and GIS.
  • Design, configure, support, and training applications, visualizations, and data collection processes to support business analysis, process efficiency, and decision making as per required specifications.
  • Establish and manage GIS tables, forms, and reports for GIS data for the DRR unit.
  • Provide timely and responsive client support.
  • Compile Geographic Data from a variety of sources upon request.
  • Compile statistics, maps, charts as required by the DRR unit.
  • Manage and attend training seminars internally and externally abroad.
  • Participate in LRC data quality assurance. 
  • Coordinate with other staff to develop materials needed for public meetings, workgroups, council meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Design, develop, validate, and troubleshoot high performance/ high-visibility web-based applications using SharePoint/SharePoint Online/PowerApps.
  • Design, build and maintain SharePoint online sites and pages for the global enterprise
  • Upgrade and optimize existing web applications to enhance customer experience and overall operability.
  • Deliver technical services and solutions through Office365.
  • Support and maintain current SharePoint implementations and related user bases.
  • Document and publish requirements, designs, and technical specifications for use by internal teams and leadership.
  • Create and deliver effective reports with recommendation on the project progress to the DRR Manager

 

Function Specific Experience

  • Experience in conducting systems requirements analyses, design and development of decision support tools.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence, GIS, Power BI.
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 Applications.
  • Experience in Network and infrastructure.
  • Experience with Offic365 and SharePoint Online: Working knowledge and experience with Azure, Office365 architecture and applications
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting with PowerApps, Flow, Power BI, Azure Logic Apps, and SharePoint Framework
  • Creating webpages and forms in the SharePoint Online environment
