Social Worker (Multiple Positions In: Akkar, Baalbeck, Hermel, Ghazieh, Tyr, Chouf, Jal El Dib)

Main operational duties and tasks: 1- Direct project implementation Participating in all trainings and meetings needed for the project                     Preparing and facilitating trainings for volunteers  Introducing the project for local authorities in the targeted area and building up the local support committee. Coordinating with local NGOs and institutions needed for activities. Maintaining good relationships with municipalities and local stakeholders  Recruiting and managing community volunteers Monitoring the achievements and analysing information for the project (needs assessment, plan of action, implementation of activities ….)  Identifying the problem areas with the group of Community Volunteers and preparing the plan of action  Plan the type and costs of activities to be executed with the project coordinator Reviewing and evaluating the reach of goals and objectives planned in the plan of action Coordinating with other LRC departments as per project requirements Holding monthly meetings for the local support committee, and when needed   2- Volunteer management Moniotring the volunteers’ performance in the project Solving problems related to volunteers  Following up with the focal point of community volunteers   Motivating   the volunteers and maintaining a high level of morale. Holding weekly meetings with the volunteers Maintaining community volunteers’ database Continuous recruitment of community volunteers    3 – Reporting: Receiving reports from the community volunteers for each implemented activity Writing monthly narrative and statistics reports (final and progress) and submitting to Project coordinator Weekly updating on project outcomes to project coordinator
