Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Performs initial screening and evaluation of individuals, groups and communities  for vulnerability in relation to set criteria to assess and review their situation.
• Collaborates with members of the health team, to assure individual and communities ‘health  psychosocial and socioeconomics needs are addressed wherever possible
• Organizes support groups or counsel family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting themselves children and community.
• Recognizes patients with underlying  special cases as mental illness, ….., provides and/ or makes necessary linking
• Provides one-on-one support, support groups, awareness sessions, and community activities to the beneficiaries as needed.
• Links the beneficiaries to the needed services including LRC services and external NGOs, as needed and in a timely manner .
• Recruits and supervises a network of community volunteers ,
• Organizes community-volunteer led activities (open days, summer camps, continuous clubs, …) to address the needs of the community and train on them .
• Organizes and prepares trainings for community volunteers. Assists in distributions
• Provides communities activities relevant to respond the needs 
• Participates  in all trainings and meetings needed
• Leads in  participatory approach the community based work with stakeholders of the community
• Completes data entry and reporting.

Function Specific Experience

• Experience as a medical technician preferred
• Experience in reporting and management

Industry Related Experience

• Experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian organizations
• Experience in Medical institutions
