Developing and coordinating database systems and SOPs to reduce overlapping and ensure efficient targeting within the Disaster Management Unit.
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
Plan and develop a robust registration database that will allow accurate targeting of beneficiaries, and reporting. This includes improving the existing beneficiaries and targeted lists for all projects, including removal of duplications
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) explaining the use of the software/database. Provide trainings as per need to the relevant stakeholders within the Disaster Management Unit regarding the use of the database
Support in the successful design of formats (assessment, post- distribution monitoring, complaint forms, etc.) upon request by program-and project staff and PMER officers, and ensure the dissemination of new formats to the relevant branches and stakeholders
Support program/project teams if needed with the adoption/development of specific data management and data entry templates for consistent and quality data collection/entry
Ensure accurate recording of beneficiaries’ assessments, data, and vulnerabilities into the database as well as oversee the input of program/project staff responsible of data entry relevant to each project. It includes coordination and follow-up with respective project/program managers, and staff
Administer and Support Microsoft Access Program for CTP
Understand Disaster Management Unit programs/projects in order to redirect or include beneficiaries to the relevant program
Ensure regular maintenance of the systems (excels, access, online software, etc.) are in place as well as disseminate changes and updates to relevant stakeholders within the Disaster Management Unit
Assist in the creation of regular dashboards or other graphs related to the beneficiaries’ assistance, targeting, and status. Hence, coordination with M&E officer is required
Coordinate and support if needed to ensure regular and timely external reports are received by relevant stakeholders. Ensure accurate coordination with reporting officer
Submit internal, and accurate reports concerning the beneficiaries targeted by programs/projects within the Disaster Management Unit as needed or requested
Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
Provide technical support for personnel on-site or via phone or email
Set up, configure and maintain Microsoft Exchange Users' accounts
Perform data backups and recovery operations
Administer all DMU related softwatres(Equipment Module, Assesment Module, GIS System, Access Database, etc...)
