Communication Officer Intern

About the Role

LSE is seeking a Communication Officer Intern to manage its communications, outreach, and visibility. The intern will be responsible for content creation, social media management, event communication, and strengthening LSE’s brand presence across various platforms.

Scope of Work

• Creation of digital assets including social media graphics, events graphics, and website visuals.
• Engage with LSE members by featuring their stories, updates, and activities in newsletters, social media posts, and other communication materials through LSE’s platforms.
• Adapting designs for different platforms and formats while maintaining consistency in branding.
• Incorporating relevant branding elements, including logos, colors, and fonts, to ensure brand recognition
• Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of LSE and coordinate events as required.
• Collaborate closely with the project coordinator to understand objectives, target audience, and messaging.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for designing compelling visuals.
• Prepare monthly social media content calendar and manage social media platforms(Instagram,Facebook,Linkedin)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience working with NGOs or social impact organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
• 2-3 years’ experience in communications, graphic design, and content creation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Creativity, proficiency in design, and ability to produce engaging content.
• Interest in social entrepreneurship or development is a plus.
