RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES
1. Task 1: Execute capacity building and awareness activities related to inclusion in the field
The inclusion work involves a series of sessions and activities which should be implemented. These activities include awareness raising sessions, technical trainings and assessments of barriers in inclusion.
1.1. In cooperation with the other OT execute awareness sessions, technical sessions and assessments.
1.2. Adjust assessment and training tools, including assessment of facilities and infrastructures and staff knowledge, attitudes and practices.
1.3. Lead the implementation of barriers assessments, under the supervision the Project Manager.
1.4. Implement specific community-based assessments to identify community attitudes affecting inclusion and social participation of persons with physical and functional impairments, such as focus groups or interviews.
1.5. Contribute to the implementation of community-based awareness-raising activities under the supervision of the Project Manager.
1.6. Ensure the engagement of persons with physical and functional limitations and their families in the identification and analysis of barriers to Inclusion.
1.7. Have full Knowledge of the adaptation needs of people with disabilities in the inclusion concept.
Task 2: Execute advocacy related activities and promotion of inclusion as a mainstream element of humanitarian action.
Promoting and enlarging inclusive service provision at field level is part of the responsibilities. These activities are to be executed to create organizational change.
2.1. Contribute to the design of an advocacy strategy to enhance inclusion of people with specific needs.
2.2. Disseminate messages on inclusion of people with disability to external actors.
2.3. Produce reports of activities and propose new activities to reinforce the advocacy component.
2.4. Contribute to working groups and other forums that promote inclusion.
Task 3: Data Collection and Reporting
Produce specific report of the activities’ executed in the field, such as trainings or awareness sessions. All reports should be precise and maintain formats and structures provided by the Manager.
3.1. Update regularly and with precision activity follow up tools.
3.2. Produce reports to your line management (Project Manager) and advocacy reports after each activity you develop, in cooperation with the other team members
3.3. Report any problem or constraints and propose improvements
3.4. Collect information about cases and opportunities
3.5. Write reports on collected information
4. Task 4: Others

4.1. Demonstrate motivation at work and willingness to improve own knowledge and skills by participating actively in any training sessions, capacity building activities
4.2. Adapt to special situations or demands from supervisor (reporting, etc.)
