The facilitator will be responsible for designing and moderating the round table session to ensure a dynamic, inclusive, and results oriented discussion. The facilitator will guide participants through the agenda, stimulate engagement, and ensure that the session outcomes are well-documented and aligned with the event’s objectives.
- facilitate 1 day face to face Round table activity in Bekaa, Douris about Ways to Report Online Harassment Against Women and Girls in the Bekaa.
- Facilitate a constructive and participatory discussion among key stakeholders on the available channels and mechanisms for reporting online harassment.
- Identify gaps, challenges, and recommendations to improve access to justice and protection for survivors.
- Strengthen coordination and referral pathways between local organizations, law enforcement, and protection actors.
Trainer qualifications
- Advanced degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Human Rights, Law or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilitating workshops or round tables on gender-based violence, digital safety, or protection.
- Proven experience in gender equality and women’s rights programming.
- Strong moderation, communication, and report writing skills (Arabic and English).
- Knowledge of the Bekaa context and relevant protection actors is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of GBV, its impact on survivors, and effective support strategies.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
