Job Purpose
To facilitate a 2-day participatory and interactive workshop in the Bekaa region on July 9 & 10, 2025, for 16 women and girls. The training will cover key topics including Human Rights, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Conflict Resolution, Social Cohesion, and the Do No Harm approach.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare an inclusive training agenda and tools tailored to the needs of women and girls.
- Deliver the training sessions over 2 days using participatory methodologies.
- Foster a safe learning environment that encourages dialogue and engagement.
- Submit a short final report summarizing the workshop, including outcomes, feedback, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Human Rights, gender studies, political science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience facilitating trainings/workshops on human rights or civic engagement
- Strong knowledge of human rights frameworks (international and national)
- Proven facilitation and communication skills
- Gender-sensitive and culturally aware approach
- Fluent in Arabic; good command of English is a must
Deliverables
- Training agenda and session materials submitted prior to workshop
- 2 days of in-person training sessions
- Final workshop report in English (max 3 pages)
