Trainer – 2-Day Workshop on Human Rights, GBV, Conflict Resolution, Social Cohesion, and Do No Harm

Job Purpose

To facilitate a 2-day participatory and interactive workshop in the Bekaa region on July 9 & 10, 2025, for 16 women and girls. The training will cover key topics including Human Rights, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Conflict Resolution, Social Cohesion, and the Do No Harm approach.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare an inclusive training agenda and tools tailored to the needs of women and girls.
  • Deliver the training sessions over 2 days using participatory methodologies.
  • Foster a safe learning environment that encourages dialogue and engagement.
  • Submit a short final report summarizing the workshop, including outcomes, feedback, and recommendations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Human Rights, gender studies, political science, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience facilitating trainings/workshops on human rights or civic engagement
  • Strong knowledge of human rights frameworks (international and national)
  • Proven facilitation and communication skills
  • Gender-sensitive and culturally aware approach
  • Fluent in Arabic; good command of English is a must

 

Deliverables

  • Training agenda and session materials submitted prior to workshop
  • 2 days of in-person training sessions 
  • Final workshop report in English (max 3 pages)
