Visual Documentation of RDFL Roundtable Event

1.Background

The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering (RDFL) is a feminist, secular, non-governmental organization advocating for and raising awareness about the rights of women and girls in Lebanon. Founded in 1976, the RDFL is one of the oldest feminist organizations, one based on volunteerism.

RDFL’s vision is to achieve equality between women and men in all spheres and to provide protection from gender-based violence.

RDFL’s mission is to work on and advocate for the elimination of gender-based violence and all forms of discrimination, and to achieve full citizenship for women through a widespread and empowered membership and in collaboration with civil society. 

In partnership with Diakonia, RDFL is seeking a filmmaker or production house to provide full media coverage for an upcoming roundtable event addressing child marriage.

The primary objective of this tender is to document a roundtable event through a final edited video suitable for social media, featuring mini-interviews with key stakeholders and comprehensive photography.

2.   Criteria for Submitting a Bid

2.1 Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a senior filmmaker with a team or a legally registered and have actual operations in Lebanon,

Be directly responsible for the preparation/ management/implementation of the project, i.e. not act as an intermediary;

Be experienced in the field of video production, animation, editing, voice-over, subtitles and photography

Be financially sound and financial continuity throughout the project;

Having Arabic-speaker staff on board is compulsory.

Deliver tangible and efficient results;

Be able to efficiently budget and contribute to the success of the activities.

Be in possession of technical equipment (camera, software, etc.) required for the production of deliverables.

2.2 Applicants must submit a bid on their own being the mere implementing body.

3.     Description

RDFL is seeking to hire the services of a professional communications service provider for the delivery of high-quality coverage of a roundtable event. Visual communications materials will be developed in accordance with RDFL communications guidelines and donor branding rules, geared towards increasing the visibility of RDFL’s project and donors’ support.

The service provider should expect inquiries of the following kinds:

Production of one high-quality video documenting the roundtable event, including mini interviews with key stakeholders and integrated event photography. The final product should be optimized for social media circulation, featuring precise editing, branded elements, donor logos, and embedded subtitles.

4.     List of Deliverables

•    One professionally edited video:

A high-quality final cut tailored for social media, featuring RDFL branding, donor logos, and mini interviews with key stakeholders. The video must include precise editing and subtitles. RDFL will conduct several feedback rounds before final approval.

•     High-quality photography:

      A  set of images documenting the roundtable event, suitable for use across RDFL’s.

•     Visibility Production Materials

    Design and layout of:

     1 Event roll up banner design and single printed copy

     1Digital invitation design 

    1 Digital Roundtable agenda design (30 printed copies)

      Print ready designed flyers for distribution ( 100 copies notbefore 18 flyer and 100 copies RDFL brochure)
