The Cleaner is responsible for the hygiene of the Douris Office. He/she is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, cleaning of the different rooms of the office, the cleaning materials/products put at his/her disposal and the management of the stock. He/she will have to justify the trust, honesty and assiduity placed in him/her.

Main duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness and daily cleaning of the Base:

· Deal with all issues related to the cleanliness of the Concern

· Clean the different rooms of the office, toilets, meeting room and other rooms of the office daily;

· Support the child care staff with the children.

· Make cleaning products, soaps and towels available and in good condition in the toilets/bathrooms;

· Ensure that there is sufficient toilet paper and soap in the restrooms/bathrooms.

· Ensure that all furniture and buildings (including bathroom facilities) within the Concern office are clean;

· Maintain the cleanliness of the office and its surroundings;

· Empty trash cans regularly;

· Other duties related to the position.

Other duties:

· Immediately inform the line manager of any incident, theft, loss or damage to property in his/her charge.

· Ensure that a statement of cleaning needs is made at the beginning of each month and forwarded to the line manager;

· Ensure that all light bulbs are working;

· Ensure that the water fountains are filled with drinking water;

· Control and eliminate all types of vermin, insects and pests.

· Performs all other job related duties as requested by the Concern hierarchy.

· Ensure strict adherence to the instructions received from his/her supervisor and the application of safety measures in effect at Concern.
