Outreach

RDFL is seeking for a qualified Outreach based in Beirut- Jdeide Street 

Responsibilities:

• Outreach vulnerable people in the area according to the criteria of the project.
• Conduct interviews with these people for data collection.
• Convince and persuade the outreached people to attend training and awareness sessions.
• Attend all the training conducted
• Attend and monitor the training conduct vulnerability assessments in the field and communication with beneficiaries.
• Ensure the attendance of the beneficiaries to the training and awareness sessions.
• Empower and promote the development of the beneficiaries.
• Write a report about the activities conducted along with its related documentation (pictures, attending sheets).
• Organize sessions/training for the beneficiaries and make sure all the related parties are well informed and present at the sessions.
• Stay in touch with the Project Manager and project Officer to coordinate the outreach process.
• Plan the steps with a multitasking approach.
• Develop and retain solid connections with potential partners and permanent members of the association in order to ensure the unit’s mission and serve the targeted number of people.
• Other responsibilities as requested by Line Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or any other equivalent university qualifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in outreach and community mobilization is required.
• Prior experience working on protection project
• Good knowledge of GBV.
• Good organizational and documentation management skills.
• Knowledge of the functions of community organizations and related human services in the area.
