Lebanon Eco Movement (LEM) in coordination with the Lebanese Environment Forum (LEF) are currently implementing a project entitled “Bahr Bala Plastic” under the “Lebanese civil society combating for a plastic free Mediterranean Sea” grant funded by the EU Delegation.

This project aims to reduce discharges of waste thrown in the sea, prevent additional harming to the environment and mitigate the economic damage to activities such as tourism and fisheries and that by providing financial and technical support to projects that contribute in preserving the biodiversity of Lebanese coastal zones, while tackling marine litter in Lebanon with a special focus on single-use plastic products and micro plastics, potential threat to both the environment and human health.

In addition to other work packages, the project aims at launching an advocacy campaign to reduce single-use plastic and improve plastic sorting and recycling procedures in schools, in order to spread this experience and behavioral change in the Lebanese communities towards reaching a Plastic-free MED.

For this job, Lebanon Eco Movement is seeking to hire a Content Creator responsible for developing and managing the overall content of the Advocacy manual that will be used by trainers in their visits to schools.
