Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and effective environment during the sessions, ensure child-friendly atmosphere.
- Supporting in ensuring CP SHLS and mobile areas are safe and equipped for SaWC activities.
- Developing rules with children (fair, adjustable, and agreed).
- Prepare teaching handouts, activity sheets
- Implement child-centered teaching methods, diverse teaching to engage children.
- Use assessment tools to overview the learning enhancing progress.
- A Max of 16 working hours that provide effective teaching in literacy sessions to street and working children.
Qualifications
- Education: University degree or teaching diploma in one of the subjects with in the Lebanese teaching curriculum
- Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
- Demonstrated Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated understanding of working with children and particularly vulnerable children.
- Strong ability to organize work and adapt plans on a daily basis based on the ages and needs of the children (Ages between 6 till 18).
- Desire to receive and implement professional development/training opportunities.
Working conditions
The Job requires understanding the challenges faced in working with streets and working children. Excepted to work under challenging circumstances, that requires a patient and calm attitude.
