Field Worker

Project implementation: Field supervision of construction Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project. Daily visits to the construction sites, assessing the quality and quantity of the work done by the contractor (very good knowledge of materials, specification and prices). Dealing with contractors/ workers/ sub- contractors/ owner/ other stakeholders. Reporting the situation of the project. Report back on logistics requirements, and fill out procurement forms when necessary. Follow up the rehabilitation of the infrastructural activities program. Coordinate with staff and key stakeholders regarding services in all its aspects. Ensure that standards (e.g. Safety, security, environmental, quantity, quality) is followed during service provision. Gather and share appropriate information that would enhance the project implementation. Ensure that all Services- related data (e.g., activity monitoring) is well managed and provides an accurate representation of the reality on the ground. Submit regular reports to line management. Work with the field team to achieve the objectives of the project.   Related skills: Ability to manage stress and be flexible and accommodating in difficult working circumstances Good understanding of the humanitarian sector and experience in implementing relief projects Computer literate with significant experience in Microsoft application ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities. negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate
