Social Woker

Job Description

  • Implement the services provided by LebRelief during this project and identify most vulnerable youth interested in being engaged in the activities, coordinate and communicate with beneficiaries;
  • Assess the needs and priorities of the targeted beneficiaries and define suitable activities based on participatory approach;
  •  Follow-up attendance to the sessions, report absences and propose appropriate measures when needed;
  • Complete with high competency the assigned tasks and assess challenges and ways forward for each task.
  • Follow and stick to the time plan shared by the team leader for the assigned activity.
  • Responsible of assessing the activities with participants through Focus Group Discussions in coordination with the M&E.
  • Organize referrals and follow-up cases;
  • Organize the data and documents related to the activity.
  • Follow-up in depth with the ongoing activities and beneficiaries and generate ideas for improvement.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on activities;
  • Prepare human stories and success stories;
  • Summaries on each implemented activity once achieved;
  • Attend and actively participate to weekly staff meeting;
  •  Participate, as requested, in workshops and coordination meetings intended to improve professional knowledge and skills relevant to assigned responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with Livelihood and agriculture Projects.
  • Previous experience in outreach and assessment activities.
  • Driving license and own car for transportation is a plus.
  • Education Degree Details: 
  • Bachelor degree in social science, human resources or other related humanitarian field.
