Social Worker

Job Description

  1. Implement the services provided by LebRelief during this project and identify most vulnerable youth interested in being engaged in the activities, coordinate and communicate with beneficiaries;
  2. Assess the needs and priorities of the targeted beneficiaries and define suitable activities based on participatory approach;
  3.  Follow-up attendance to the sessions, report absences and propose appropriate measures when needed;
  4. Complete with high competency the assigned tasks and assess challenges and ways forward for each task.
  5. Follow and stick to the time plan shared by the team leader for the assigned activity.
  6. In coordination with the Team Leader, the Social Worker has the responsibility of assessing the activities with participants by designing and filling evaluation tools; 
  7. Organize referrals and follow-up cases;
  8. Organize the data and documents related to the activity.
  9. Follow-up in depth with the ongoing activities and beneficiaries and generate ideas for improvement.
  10. Prepare daily and weekly reports on activities;
  11. Prepare human stories and success stories;
  12. Summaries on each implemented activity once achieved;
  13. Attend and actively participate to weekly staff meeting;
  14.  Participate, as requested, in workshops and coordination meetings intended to improve professional knowledge and skills relevant to assigned responsibilities.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience with Livelihood Projects.
  2. Previous experience in outreach and assessment activities.
  3. Driving license and own car for transportation is a plus.
