Projects Coordinator

The projects coordinator at Legal Agenda will ensure that the projects assigned to him/her have proper
action plans, and that they are implemented to high quality, on time, and within budget. S/he will also
ensure that activities contribute to achieving key deliverables, and that communication with the project
stakeholders’ is optimized.

Main Responsibilities
 

Under the supervision of the Programs and Grants manager and in collaboration with Legal
Agenda’s team members
- Plan and follow-up on the proper implementation of project activities to meet project
deliverables based on the timeline and scope, ensuring that Legal Agenda team
members are following agreed upon work plans, that activities are on schedule, and that
project deliverables are completed as committed.
- Prepare work plans, track progress, and report on it.
- Coordinate and maintain good relationships with project stakeholders to ensure proper
outreach is conducted.
- Ensure clear communication between project staff on project specifications
- Plan, organize and attend meetings and events as required

- Identify the terms of reference needed for consultants on projects.
- Prepare the purchase requests in alignment with the budget of the project, and in
collaboration with support staff, ensure all relevant contracts, attendance, and project-
related documents are well prepared as evidence of task completion.
- Collect and compile data linked to project indicators, and track data reporting timelines.
- Support monitoring and evaluation efforts to document project outputs, outcomes, and
impact. Contribute to the analysis of data collected to facilitate assessment results and
lessons learned.
- Responsible for the filing and record keeping of project activities.
- Prepare regular narrative reports to be submitted to the Programs and Grants Manager.
- Monitor adherence of activities and projects to grant agreement and/or Legal Agenda’s
policies and procedures.
- Any other task relevant to the position and as requested by the Programs and Grants
Manager.

Minimum Qualification

- BA/S in Management or a relevant field;
- At least two years of experience in coordination
- Experience in creating and managing detailed action/project plans and budgets;
- Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks to meet objectives;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Great communication skills
