Hydraulic Engineer (Reference # 0127)

We are looking for an ambitious and hard-working individual to join our Hydraulic team and work at various stages of international water projects. These projects include the design and the support during the implementation of water transmission, distribution & treatment systems, as well as dams and hill lakes.
You should be ready to travel 60-90 days a year in periods with typical durations of 1-3 weeks

Responsibilities and Duties

Under the supervision of the project manager

• deliver various studies and reports pertaining to hydraulic projects, including master plans, feasibility studies, hydraulic modeling, technical designs and specifications
• technically support the on-site team of experts during the implementation of the project and the supervision of works
• Lead the preparation of technical offers on water tenders

Education

Bachelor Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering

Experience

• At least three years of engineering experience in water/wastewater sector (water/stormwater/wastewater distribution/collection/treatment systems)
• Experience in consulting engineering (design  will be an asset

Specific skills

• Experience with CAD applications (waterCAD, civil 3d, sewerCAD) is a must
• Experience in calculation and modeling of hydraulic structures 
• Ability to deliver technical designs and specifications as well as other consultancy reports
• Experience with GIS will be a plus
• Experience within soil classifications and characteristics will be a plus
• Experience within slope stability software (Geoslope or equivalent) will be a plus

Personal characteristics

• Good IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Team player with strong project management and coordination skills

Certification

Member of the order of Engineers and Architects of either Beirut or Tripoli
