Junior AutoCAD Draftsman at Libanconsult AGM (Reference # 0121)

We are looking for an AutoCAD draftsman to join our talented drafting team. In this position, you will work alongside engineers to generate various technical drawings at all stages of the project. You will be working on projects in diverse sectors, mainly in infrastructure and environment (water & wastewater networks, dams, landfills, etc.), but also in structural engineering. Previous work experience (0-5 years at least) as AutoCAD draftsman and/or construction and surveying is preferred

Responsibilities and duties include the following:

- Follow specifications and calculations to generate various technical drawings
- Prepare from scratch both rough sketches and detailed work with CAD
systems
- Create technical drawings with Structure specifications
- Use CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements,
calculations, building codes, and other construction details
- Print CAD drawing schematics for use by Civil, Electrical and Mechanical
engineers
- Communicate with all engineers, and incorporate knowledge gained into
drawings
- Prepare, review and redraft alongside the engineering team
- Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team
- Finalize AutoCAD models; present models to the team; complete job reports

Specific skills:

- Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software is required
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
- Knowledge of GIS is preferred
