Customer Care Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Care Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for helping others.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the frontline representative of our organisation, handling customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media channels.
  • Provide prompt and exceptional assistance to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers in navigating our products or services, offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance as required.
  • Document all customer interactions comprehensively, including inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and resolve escalated issues.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience and recommend appropriate solutions to management.
  • Stay updated on the organisation updates, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information and assistance to customers.
  • Handle escalated customer issues with tact and diplomacy, striving for resolution while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Participate actively in ongoing training and development programs to enhance customer service skills and knowledge.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathise and connect with customers.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
