The Graphic Designer will contribute to the first outcome of the project - The capacities of Nation Station – a grassroots initiative operating a Community Kitchen in Beirut - are strengthened so that their services meet the needs of vulnerable groups and low-income consumers. The mission entails designing a visually appealing and accessible 10-12 pages handbook for a Case Study of Nation Station’s Community Kitchen, to be used for replication purposes by other actors, and to document lessons, challenges, and recommendations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Attend a kick-off meeting to align on design objectives, content structure, and branding guidelines; and ensure collaboration and coordination throughout the mission.
- Design a user-friendly handbook, based on content provided by Mada. The handbook will showcase the history, concept, lessons learned, and successes of the Community Kitchen, representing a case study for replication of the model. The Designer will be expected to produce graphic representations of lessons learned and recommendations.
- Propose a design for the handbook that aligns with Nation Station’s identity and expectations, and complies with Mada’s and the donor’s visibility guidelines.
- Adjust and revise the design based on feedback. An estimated 3-4 rounds of revisions are expected before final approval.
