GRAPHIC DESIGNER-LOGO DESIGN

BACKGROUND

Mada is currently seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to undertake the design of a logo for a peer-to-peer network of farmers transitioning to agroecology. The network operates with the following objectives:

  • Fostering Knowledge Exchange, where farmers can share valuable insights, best practices, and experiences, ultimately enhancing production outcomes.
  • Promoting Collective Empowerment by developing a unified transportation system, participating in collective negotiation and advocacy efforts, advocating for agroecology within peer networks and the broader value chain, as well as establishing connections with farmers across various regions.

JOB SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer will be expected to:

  • Meet with Mada and network members to gather inputs that feed into design.
  • Propose at least 3 different designs that are visually appealing and meaningful and that accurately represent the goals of the peer-to-peer network of farmers transitioning to agroecology.

DELIVERABLES

  • Adobe illustrator and pdf formats for the logo. The logo should be provided in high resolution suitable for both print and digital use.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree or Technical Degree in Graphic Designing
  • Strong practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design etc.
  • Show a clear and mature style of design, demonstrating an understanding of the communication requirements of Mada
  • Working experience in development or humanitarian environment is desirable

Technical score (40%):

Number of relevant years of experience (in graphic designing) (10 points)

Previous Experience with Mada that resulted in expected deliverables (10 points)

Experience working with NGOs in the development and/or humanitarian sector (10 points)

Relevant education degree level (10 points)
