The practical trainer will work under the project "Employability, mentorship and soft skills program for youth in Akkar, North Lebanon and Mount Lebanon", funded by Germany through German Development Bank KFW, and the government of the Netherlands, with the support of UNICEF. This project is implemented by Mada Association in partnership with Empower.
The project aims at providing short term training to a group of dropout and unemployed Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinians youth; the training will include theoretical sessions (45 Sessions) and practical sessions (45 Sessions) and 100 hours of apprenticeship through internships in SME, municipalities or cooperatives.
The trainer will conduct the program of 90 hours, in 15 days targeting two groups (45 Hours each group) of youth between 18 and 25 youth
Role and Responsibilities:
- Activity 1: to animate the theoretical training for a duration of 90 hours (3 hours per day for 15 days) according to the curriculum that was validated by Mada's team.
The content developed during the classes should be based on the curriculum prepared by MADA and should include:
- Definition of Car Scanner
- Identify Car Scanner devices
- Relation of car scanners devices and the various computers used in cars
- Difference between OBD1 and OBD2 system
- How to work on a car diagnostic device
- Recognition and analysis of car malfunctions codes
- Learn about the sensors
- Engine Control Module
- Modern ignition system and Moder Injection system in details
- Activity 2: to animate the practical training for a duration of 45 hours (3 hours per day for 15 days) according to the curriculum that was validated by Mada's team.
The content developed during the classes should be based on the curriculum prepared by MADA and should include:
- Use of Multiscan for obd1 and obd 2.
- Discover location of DTC
- Read Streem Data
- Activation
- Read and Clear Fault Code
- Dynamic Test for alternator, injector performance and ignition coil performance
- Troubleshooting for powertrain system control sensors
- Control Actuators
- Use software for diagnosis
- Read Wiring Diagram
- Activity 3: to prepare a pre/post Test
- Activity 4: to prepare the list of materials and equipment needed
- Activity 5: to fill the daily attendance sheets of the trainees, daily sheets and final sheets
- to submit at the end of the training a report including:
- Brief Summary of the workflow of the training
- Challenges and Problems faced
- Recommandetions and Solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in hydraulic mechanical and/or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years in Car Scanning
- Previous experience in Training and Education
