Main Responsibilities
1/ Supervision of the finance management and compliance with procedures
- Supervise Mada and Zoukak finance and administrative staff
- Ensure that account statements and financial reports or donor agencies’ additional requests are produced on time (monthly basis and according to the reporting calendars for external reporting),
- Support the project managers with the financial execution of the budget and prepare requests for addendum if needed,
- Ensure the compliance with the association and donor agencies procedures,
- Supervise the regular operations (data entry and archiving, inventory, bank and suppliers’ reconciliations, cash flow management, contracts with suppliers and consultants, procurement, etc.),
- Supervise the official declarations (NSSF, R10, etc.),
- Prepare the annual declaration to the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Financial including the forecast annual budget and update it on a regular basis,
- Contribute to set a financial strategy for the coming 3 years and design the according master plan,
- Prepare quarterly situation to be presented to the board.
2/ Develop and implement a capacity building program for Mada and Zoukak’s team and other platform’s members
- Following the needs assessment, prepare a capacity building program
- Implement completely or with the ad hoc support of external support the capacity building
- Follow-up and provide on the job support when needed
- Prepare and implement integration training on project finance management, procedures and tools to new staff (project managers in particular)
3/ Update the tools and procedures
- Update the guidelines (procedures) and tools such as easy-to-use monitoring, management and reconciliation tools in a way that it could also benefit the platform’s members
- Evaluate the compliances procedures of the organization and suggest modifications accordingly
- Design easy to read charts and tools for the staff (procurement, monthly situation, etc.)
4/ Provide technical support to the platform’s members
- Supervise the needs assessment and define conjointly with the members the action plan and strategy
- Provide and coordinate ad hoc support (budget preparation, training on the guidelines and tools, legal and administrative services, etc.)
Working relationships:
The Finance & Administrative Senior manager will work closely Mada team members and Zoukak theater company as well as other platform’s members.

Five years of experience in a financial managerial role within the NGO sector in Lebanon
Demonstrated ability to develop manuals and finance procedures
Ability to produce easy to read procedures for staff, using charts
Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in accounting software (Dolfin, PIMS especially)
