Netwroking Officer

Networking Officer Mada is seeking a Networking Officer who will be in charge of the implementation of activities in the framework of “Coordination du réseau Aremdt 2011-2012 pour la region de Mashrek” project, under the supervision of the project coordinator. Main Work Interfaces   ü  Internal interfaces   -      Association Coordinator -      Project Coordinator -      Administrator -      Accountant   -      Etc. ü  External Interfaces -      Partner organizations -      Other non-governmental organizations, INGO -      Local authorities (Municipalities) -      Beneficiaries (Local Community) -      Etc.  Mission 1: Office Work Meetings and Communication ü  Participating in trainings, workshops and meetings directly correlated to the Project (preparation, implementation & reporting) using the tools & skills provided in the project and taking minutes of meetings. ü  Attending regular coordination meetings ü  Prepare communication items: power point presentations, newsletter, and social networks (facebook, twitter …); Reseaches ü  Undertaking desktop & field research for the diagnosis of the existing tourism infrastructure of Tarhal and other alternative tourism projects in Lebanon; ü  Work on the Identification of  new alternative tourism infrastructure, projects and partners; Reseaches Developing a resilience framework ü  Creating (under close supervision of Mada s project Coordinator) of thematic tourism packages ü  Identifying potential TO and travel agencies (domestic and foreigners) in order to create links with them; ü  Follow up on Mada s tourism projects ü  Keep accurate recording and archiving of all activities, data, etc…. ü  Prepare a weekly report to the project coordinator and provide information upon request Mission 2: Field Work ü  Logistical organization of needed field visits scheduled with the project coordinator ü  Logistical preparation of technical trainings to be done Mission 3: Cashbox responsibility ü  Collecting invoices and ensure they conform to Mada s guidelines ü  Managing cashbox handled and administer petty cash given ü  Providing accurate financial documents monthly ü  Presenting a weekly updated list of expenditures (realized and expected) Education and knowledge required ü  Bachelors degree in tourism   ü  Computers: Word, excel, power point, internet ü  Languages: French, English, Arabic.
