Terms of reference Ecotourism Company for educational field trips Mada is a non sectarian NGO established in Lebanon in year 2000 (www.mada.org.lb). Mada works with different groups in various developmental and environmental projects in Lebanon to facilitate dynamics of change based on endogenous and inclusive efforts as well as policies and regulations appropriate to local realities. Mada achieves this mission by: Supporting marginalized persons or groups and providing a space for initiatives carried by actors who have the potential for change, Contributing to the establishment of relationships or effective partnerships between local actors and other stakeholders. Through its activities, Mada tries to ensure long-term mobilization and to inspire new practices of leadership while contributing to the emergence of a culture of collective action and responsibility. The Mada Eco tourism department wrote an educational project to raise children awareness about environment. This project will involve three classes of children (around 90 children from 11 to 13 years old). Through the rehabilitation of a hiking trail (3 field trips for signs and markings) they will discover how to respect biodiversity.   We are seeking the service of a tour operator to organise and animate these three school field trips in the area of Akkar.   Main work interfaces -  Internal interfaces -      Mada Eco-tourism Coordinator -      Mada Eco-tourism Communication officer -      Mada Administrator -  External interfaces -      Local organizations or associations -      Local authorities -      The director of the school and teachers -      Local guides -      Beneficiaries (children)     Definition of the Mission -  Activity 1 -      Supervision of the field trips ensuring the safety of the children -  Activity 2 -      Animation of the field trips managing the children and the time     Education and knowledges required -  Registered as an ecotourism company under the Lebanese law -  Certified guides -  Insurance covered -  Interest and familiarity with NGO’s context -  Languages: French or English, Arabic -  Show similar experience with schools   Skills required -  Management -  Safety -  Organisation -  Reactivity -  Relational skills -  Implication -  Adaptability -  Pedagogy   Interested tour operators should submit their offer including: -      The company registration document -      The insurance contract -      One page detailing similar experience -      The proposed program for the three field trips -      The financial offer Offers should be submitted to Mada Association no later than 24th of April by email to: ecotourism@mada.org.lb
