In the framework of the project “Let’s all go to school initiative“ funded by UNICEF, which aims to empower schools with the capacity and experience to plan and implement extracurricular activities for children using a child friendly approach, Mada is seeking a Trainer on child rights and animation/psycho-social play techniques. The trainer will be in charge of developing and implementing a practical workshop on child rights, animation- and psycho-social play techniques for volunteers in Akkar and Hermel. The training should be tailored to provide volunteers with a conceptual understanding and awareness of child rights, and to equip them with a variety of animation and psycho-social play techniques and skills enabling them to implement child friendly extra-curricular activities in schools.
Objective of Training
Increasing the awareness of volunteers on child rights and equipping them with child -friendly animation, facilitation and psycho-social play techniques, allowing them to implement extra-curricular activities with children
Expected Results
Volunteers have increased awareness on child rights and have a deeper understanding on how to act in a child friendly manner, respecting child rights and using a child-centered approach
Volunteers have acquired facilitation and animation techniques allowing them to implement extra-curricular activities with children
Volunteers have knowledge of a variety of psycho-social play techniques they can implement with children
