In the framework of the project “Let’s all go to school initiative“ funded by UNICEF, which aims to empower schools with the capacity and experience to plan and implement extracurricular activities for children using a child friendly approach, Mada is seeking a Trainer in Coordination Techniques and Management of Activities. The trainer will be in charge of developing and implementing a practical workshop on coordination techniques and management of activities, to empower activity coordinators in public schools in Hermel and Akkar with the needed technical and social skills to enable them to motivate and manage a team of volunteers in implementing extra-curricular activities in schools. Objective of Training Building capacities of school activity coordinators regarding coordination techniques and management of activities Training Content The coordination concept and the important role of the coordinator Coordination skills and techniques, including: time management; resource management; team management (drafting work plans, dividing tasks); monitoring and follow-up. Communication skills and volunteers’ motivation techniques Leadership, teambuilding and conflict management skills Expected Results Coordinators have the technical skills to manage the activity according to a set timeframe, following the budget and dividing tasks among the team. Coordinators have acquired leadership and communication skills Coordinators have the social skills to motivate volunteers and develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with all project participants
