Social Media Marketing Strategist and Digital Content Creator

Maharat seeks to increase its online presence for both its media development work and for the news website it incubates, maharat-news. Maharat aims to enhance its social media presence on different platforms, including interacting with a wider audience of youth, promoting interactive and engaging content and creating innovative social media campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including content ideation and implementation schedules.
• Ensures brand and identity consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various team  members.
• Collects insights, analytics and data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Grows and expands social media presence into various social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Researches and monitors activity of our competitors
• Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of social media messages.
• Use social media marketing tools to increase traffic on our websites
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
• Communicate with influencers and relevant actors via social media to create a stronger online network.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Communications or Marketing
• Two years of experience with social media management
